Zurek, Czeslaw (1932-2013)

Passed away quietly after a courageous battle with cancer. Loving father of Anna Oliver (Ryan) and cherished husband of Alina Zurek. Reunited in heaven with his wife of 39 years, his sisters and his parents. Czeslaw will be missed by family and friends in Poland and in Canada, especially his best furry friend Timbit. Visitation will be held at P.X. DERMODY FUNERAL HOME 796 Upper Gage Ave (between Mohawk and Fennell) on Friday, September 20th, 2013 from 2-4 & 7-9 p.m., with prayers at 8 p.m. A Funeral Mass will take place on Saturday, September 21st, 2013 at 9 a.m. at St. Stanislaus Catholic Church. Cremation to follow. Special thanks to Dr. Slaven at JCC, Susanna from Bayshore, and the wonderful, loving staff of Emmanuel House for providing end of life care with dignity and grace. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Juravinski Cancer Centre and Good Shepherd Emmanuel House.
