Obituary for Cornelius Charles "Neil" Panabaker

Cornelius Charles "Neil"  Panabaker
Following a cardiac incident, and in spite of exceptional care, Neil passed away Monday January 16, 2017, at the Hamilton General Hospital, surrounded by family.
Beloved husband of Mardie; cherished father of Charles, and Catherine (Johnny Chase); playful grandpa of Brody, Porter, Kingston and Berlyn; treasured brother of Richard, Joan, Fran and Joel.
Before retirement, Neil taught math and physical education at Ancaster High School. He coached many sports during his tenure, devoting over 45 years to volleyball, as both coach and later referee. An avid sportsman, Neil regularly played tennis at Rosedale Tennis Club, loved to golf and played slo-pitch for 20+ years with Ancaster Veterans’ Slo-Pitch League, recently serving as League Commissioner.
In keeping with his wishes, we would like to extend an invitation for all to join us at the burial of his cremated remains, followed by a celebration of his life. These events will take place Saturday January 28th in Hamilton, Ontario, beginning at 11:00 am.
