It is with heavy hearts and great sorrow the family of Sills Thomas announce the sudden passing on Thursday February 2, 2017 at his home. Sills was a devoted and loving husband to wife Victoria for 65 years predeceased June 9, 2016. A proud and loving father to sons Edward (Janet), Patrick (Lynn), Leroy (Cyndy) and Arthur (Mari-Ann). Beloved grandfather of Taryn, Kaelen, Aysha, Nathan, Quayce, Rhys, Isaac, Connor, and Madison, Sills also leaves behind many dear family members and friends. Along with his wife Victoria, he was a founding and active member of the Dominica Association of Hamilton. Avid player and fan of Dominos. He will be sadly missed by both Hamilton and Toronto members. Our family extends a heartfelt thanks to all EMS services. Visitation will be held at P.X. DERMODY FUNERAL HOME, 796 Upper Gage, Hamilton, Wednesday, February 15, 2017 from 2-4 p.m. and 7-9 p.m. Funeral Service to take place at First Pilgrim United Church, 200 Main St. E. at 11:00 a.m. Thursday, February 16, 2017. Interment to follow at Mount Hamilton Cemetery, Rymal Road E. Memorial donations to the Alzheimer Society would be greatly appreciated.
