Ian and Nora Yeates

Dear Lynne: Dad lived a long and interesting life, from 1930's Britain as a boy to various overseas postings with the army as a young man, and then to Canada in middle age and beyond. Here he had a number of challenging and rewarding jobs and careers. He also was very lucky to have met you and to have had many happy years with you. The cottage life in NY State, and the toing and froing to Toronto, holidays to Cape Cod and Mexico, and, importantly, a home in the Burlington condo. Dad had a good innings, and in large part due to you. His last years at the home were not easy for him or you, but he owed much to your care and attention while there. I was grateful that I was able to visit when visiting Ontario and have a bit of time with you both. I am sure he is looking down with thankfulness for all you brought into his life. I know this is a tough transition for you, but hang in there. Love Ian and Nora.
