At St. Joseph’s Hospital on Tuesday May 2, 2017, Patricia McDonald in her 86th year. Loving wife of the late Norbert "Knobby". Loving mother of Charles, Michael(the late Kathy), James(the late Glenda), and John(Geraldine). Loved grandma of Meagan(Brennon), Jennifer, Luke(Steph), Madelyn(James), Michael, Sarah, Emilie, Kallie, Delaney, Cail, Shannon, and Patrick. Cherished great grandma of Kayden and Dax. Dear sister of Martha, Betty, Charlie, Gordie, and Jerry. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews and predeceased by her siblings, Buddy, Babe, Kay, George, Bonnie, Josephine, and Locke. Patricia had a distinguished career with the Royal Trust after raising her 4 boys, and was a long time active member of St. Joseph’s Catholic Church. She will be remembered for her generosity, sense of humour, love of family and sadly missed by all those who knew her. Visitation will be held at P.X. DERMODY FUNERAL HOME, 796 Upper Gage Ave (between Mohawk and Fennell) on Friday May 5, 2017 from 2-4 and 7-9 PM. Vigil prayers will be said at 8:30 PM. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated at St. Joseph Catholic Church (260 Herkimer St.) on Saturday May 6, 2017 at 10 AM. Cremation to follow. www.dermodys.com
