Mattiacci, Maria (nee Conti)
After a long illness passed away peacefully at Juravinski Hospital on August 25, 2017 at the age of 87. Beloved wife of Adelio Mattiacci. Maria, an incredible pillar of strength and loving mother will be deeply missed by her daughter Patricia Boschi (Giovanni) and her beautiful grandchildren Alexandra, Annabella and great grandchild Gianni. Also remembered by nieces and nephews Alfonso(Nadia), Rudy( Luisa), Paula(Vic), Frank(Antoniette) and Julie. Dear sister of Adriano(Marilena), Pasquale, Ottavio, and predeceased by brothers Vincenzo and Eugenio( Attilia), and sisters Alda and Pia. All will miss her passion for life, her gardening skills and dedication to her family. Special thanks to the doctors and the Geriatric Unit at Juravinski Hospital. Family will receive friends at PX DERMODY FUNERAL HOME, 1919 King St. E. (between Cochrane and Rosedale) on Monday September 4, 2017 from 1-4 p.m. A Funeral Mass will be held at Incarnation of our Blessed Lord Catholic Church(at the corner of Barton and Nash) on Tuesday September 5, 2017 at 9 a.m. The Right of Committal will be held at Holy Sepulchre Cemetery. In lieu of flowers donations to the Juravinski Cancer Centre would be greatly appreciated.
