Passed away peacefully at home on Sunday, August 27th, 2017 at the age of 77. Cherished wife of Knoll Gordon for 54 years. Loving mother to Karen, Elaine, Earl (Michelle), Mark (Carissa), and Andrew (Yesim). Caring grandmother to Shaquille, Jaelyn, Miyah, Levent, Leyla and Aereonna. Survived by siblings William (Rupersha), Roderick, Lester, Audrey, Everett (Hilton), and Freda (Ralph). Predeceased by parents James and Cassetta and brothers Vinyl (Elaine), Morris, sister-in-law Hyacinth and son-in-law Brian. She will be fondly remembered by nieces, nephews, family and friends. A special thanks to the Nurses and PSW’s for their compassionate care. Visitation will be held at P.X. Dermody Funeral Home, 796 Upper Gage Avenue, Hamilton, on Thursday, September 7th, 2017 from 7-9 pm. Final visitation at Hamilton Church of God, 1955 Upper James, Hamilton on Friday, September 8th, 2017 at 10am followed by a celebration of life service at 11am with interment at Mount Hamilton Cemetery.
