Peacefully, surrounded by family on October 6, 2017 in his 89th year at the Juravinski Hospital. Loving husband of the late Celestine and his children Jim (Dianne), Gary (Susan), the late Bill (Maureen), Allan (Mary), and Rick (Mary-Ann). Dear grandfather of Marisa(Dan), Chrissy, Barbara, Robert, Thomas, Joanna, Julie, Laura, Cheryl, Leanne, and great-grandfather of Lucas, Christian, Jo, Paige, Courtney, Jamie, Brandon, Augest, Jacob, and Jada. Will also be missed by Bill and Mary Sisak, many nieces, nephews, and cherished friends. Special thanks to the nurses and staff at Grace Villa for their constant care. Visitation will be held at P.X. DERMODY FUNERAL HOME 796 Upper Gage Ave (between Mohawk and Fennell) on Wednesday October 11, 2017 from 2-4 & 7-9 p.m. A Funeral Mass will take place at St. Patrick’s Catholic Church (440 King St. East) on Thursday October 12, 2017 at 11 am. Interment will follow to Holy Sepulchre Catholic Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Grace Villa Retirement Home.
