Rogerson, Shirley (nee MacDonald)

Passed away peacefully with family by her side at Grace Villa on Monday, January 22, 2018 in her 82nd year. Her smiling face and loving heart will be dearly missed. Beloved wife of the late Elmer Rogerson (1995). Proud mother of Debbie (John) Woudstra, Don, Dan (deceased) and Kim, Darrell (Cheryl), Dwayne (deceased), and Dale (Kristine). Nanny of 11 grandchildren – Alex, Ashley, Kelly, Jason, Sherri, Danielle, Connor, Karleigh, Eric, Tyler, Evan, and great-nanny to 12 great-grandchildren. Survived by her siblings Cathy Campbell, Arlene Kent, Marion MacGregor, Vernon, Allan, Ron, and Harold. Predeceased by her siblings Marybell MacDonald, Anna Sullivan, John, Arthur, Ray, Robert, Clinton, and Roger. She will be sadly missed by many nieces, nephews, cousins, friends, and neighbours. Special thanks to the 2nd floor caregivers at Grace Villa for her wonderful care. Visitation will be held at P.X. DERMODY FUNERAL HOME (796 Upper Gage Ave. between Mohawk and Fennell) on Thursday, January 25, 2018 from 2-4 & 6-9 p.m. with prayers at 8 p.m. A Funeral Mass will take place at Blessed Sacrament Parish (305 E 37th St.) on Friday, January 26, 2018 at 11 a.m. Burial will follow at Holy Sepulchre Cemetery.
