Condolence: My auntie Lena was the last living aunt on my mother's side (Farrauto) of the family and I will miss her very much. Knowing she was always there was of great comfort for me because with every visit came a wonderful conversation of the past and present. Auntie Lena was an inspiration. I have cherished memories of visiting her at her house. The minute I walked in I was welcomed with open arms, a tea and of course her homemade treats. Auntie Lena was always thankful for your call and visit. I loved hearing her stories about our family; how it used to be back in the old days. Being in her presence was like a huge warm blanket wrapped around me. I am going to miss her voice...oh that voice..and her beautiful smiling face. She simply never aged. I know she is at peace. Her journey has just begun. Life holds so many facets, this earth is only one.

Condolence From: Chuck and Marilyn Sardo
Condolence: We were saddened to hear of the passing of Mrs. Farrauto. She was always such a kind-hearted woman and a very dear friend of my mom who cherished their friendship. Our family very much appreciated the loving support that Mrs. Farrauto showed to Mom at the time of Mom’s illness. While we have not had the opportunity to see Mrs. Farrauto in over 20 years, her name is often mentioned in family discussions with my sister… and we are pretty sure that we are still cooking with some of her recipes. Our deepest condolences to the entire family.

Condolence From: Monica (Stokl) Needham
Condolence: Mrs. Ferrauto was one of my mother’s, Anne Stokl’s, friends from St. John’s parish. Mrs. Ferrauto, Mrs. Stokl and Mrs. Peggy Sardo were pretty inseparable and as a daughter of Anne, I felt I was an adopted daughter of both of the others. In more recent years I made sure to help my mom and dad, and then my dad after mom passed, visit Mrs. Ferrauto. All my life I was struck by her consistently sunny, warm and welcoming disposition. I always found her kind and caring and no matter the trials she may have been facing I always heard her find a positive spin on the situation. Ferrauto family, on behalf of my mom and dad, I send condolences on your loss and I am grateful for the friend she was to The Stokls.
