Condolences

Condolence From: Michele & Charlie Miller
Condolence: Thinking of Maria brings smiles to both Charlie and I. We so fondly remember our "art" days here where Maria would knit and share recipes with Charlie while Mark would paint with the rest of us. Always upbeat and an inspiration to everyone. Maria cared so deeply for others and always looked up. Her faith touched me and continues to do so. We miss you Maria.

Condolence From: Heather Simpson
Condolence: Uncle Mark, Peter, and Talia;

My thoughts, love, prayers, and thousands of memories are with you all during this time.

Aunt Maria’s unwavering faith was not only beautifully humbling, but to this day, helped lay an equally strong bedrock in what has shaped my own lifelong faith in humanity as well as God.

All my love,
Heather Simpson

A prayer of St. Francis of Assisi:

"Lord, make me an instrument of your peace; where there is hatred, let me sow love; where there is injury, pardon; where there is discord, union; where there is doubt, faith; where there is despair, hope; where there is darkness, light; and where there is sadness, joy.

O Divine Master, grant that I may not so much seek to be consoled, as to console; to be understood, as to understand; to be loved, as to love; for it is in giving that we receive, it is in pardoning that we are pardoned, and it is in dying that we are born to eternal life." Amen.
