Castaldi, Umberto “Bob”

Peacefully surrounded by his family on March 7, 2018 at the Hamilton General Hospital, Umberto Castaldi passed away in his 87th year. Beloved husband for 54 years to Maria (nee Tornari). Loving father of Daniela Castaldi (Dino Minichini), and Walter Castaldi (Emelia). Dear nonno of Valentino, Chanel, Alyzee, Alexa, and Sabrina. Dear brother of Giovanni Castaldi (Federica), Maria Sellari (Anthony), and Anna DePaulis. Dear brother-in-law of Giuseppina Tornari. Survived by several nieces and nephews in Canada, USA, and Italy. Umberto was an avid tennis player. Visitation will be held at P.X. DERMODY FUNERAL HOME, 796 Upper Gage Ave., on Friday, March 9th from 4-9pm. Prayers will be said on Friday at 8:30pm. A Funeral Mass will be offered at St. Margaret Mary Parish on Saturday, March 10th at 11am. Entombment to take place at Our Lady of the Angels Mausoleum.
