Bom-Wrapper

The Memorial Candle Program has been designed to help offset the costs associated with the hosting this Tribute Website in perpetuity. Through the lighting of a memorial candle, your thoughtful gesture will be recorded in the Book of Memories and the proceeds will go directly towards helping ensure that the family and friends of Martin Galvin can continue to memorialize, re-visit, interact with each other and enhance this tribute for future generations.

Thank you.

Condolence: I grew up on the same street as Daniel and Katy, in my early years Mr. Galvin was practically a second father to me. He was always so calm, thoughtful and considerate and always encouraged Daniel and by proxy myself to pursue the more intellectual pursuits like science. He helped foster our hunger for exploring and discovering new and cool things like rock tumbling(remember that Dan!?). It's been many years since I've watched him walk back and forth to school but I'll never forget his patience when dealing with two unruly boys, one of which was from up the street. Thank you Mr. Galvin you will be missed!!

Condolence: To the Galvin Family please accept my sincere sympathies at this time. I have probably heard the name Martin Galvin almost since I was born. He worked with my father Bill at the funeral home on East Ave. A gentle man with a kind smile he always said hello when he was at the funeral home visiting others. I am sorry that I am unable to be there with you at this time. Rest in Peace Martin. Paul Dermody
