Peacefully passed away with his family by his side on Monday, June 11, 2018 at St. Peters Hospital in his 86th year. Dear husband of the late Mary Maragret (nee McGarrity) (2007) for 54 years. Loving father of Diane Clair (Joe). Cherished grandfather of Matthew (Ashley) and Michael. He is predeceased by his parents George and Mary Thombs and his siblings Mary Davis Graham and George Thombs. Brother-in-law of Sheila Dionne (the late Ron). Predeceased by sister-in-laws Eleanor Beattie and Kathleen Hughes (Terry). Lorne will

DERMODY FUNERAL HOME, 1919 King St E., on Thursday, June 14, 2018, 2-4 p.m. and 7-9 p.m. with prayers to be said at 2 p.m. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated at St. John the Baptist Roman Catholic Church, 128 Edgemont St S., on Friday, June 15, 2018 at 10 a.m. with a reception to follow.
