Suddenly at St. Joseph’s Hospital on Saturday, July 14, 2018 in his 81st year. Dan was the 12th of fifteen children of the late Loretto (nee Knapman) and Edward Ford. Dan is survived by 6 siblings; Jackie (the late Bernard) Mathews, Sr. Loretto Ford CSJ, Nora Jean (the late Rudy) Corsini, Patrick (Marjory McKillop), Maureen (Al) Bochsler and Mike (Karen). He is also survived by many nieces, nephews and cousins. Predeceased by his siblings Mary Catherine (the late Bernard) Gallagher, Edward (the late Eleanor), Loretto Ann (the late Gerald) Beninger, Helen (the late Jack) Barry, Marcielle (the late Jack) Berry, Colleen (the late Robert) Dean, Rosalie, and John. Dan was a long-time resident at First Place and a life long Parishioner of St. Patrick’s Catholic Church. Visitation at the P.X DERMODY FUNERAL HOME, 7 East Ave. S. on Monday July 16 from 6 to 9 p.m. A Funeral Mass will be offered at St. Patrick’s Church on Tuesday, July 17, at 10:30 a.m. Cremation to follow. Memorial donations to St. Vincent de Paul Society, or St Patrick’s Church Heritage Fund would be appreciated. www.dermodys.com.
