Condolence From: Beverley Johnson
Condolence: Although I had not seen him since our university days at St. Patrick’s College in Ottawa In the late 1960’s, as soon as I heard of his death, I remembered his optimism, humour and kindness. My prayers are with Chris, his family and friends, and his Oblate community, to whom he was so dedicated. God bless!

Condolence: Fr. Chris was a man with many attributes, a man of profound faith and a wonderful English teacher. I was able to appreciate English on so many levels as he always stated “there was no wrong answer”. I would be entranced whenever he read excerpts from any play, novel or poem – he was gifted! What a treasure he was to many people, may he rest in peace.

Condolence: Fr. Chris became my close friend while we were colleagues at Labrador City Collegiate. He was a dedicated teacher respected by both students and colleagues. He had an awesome sense of humor and a zest for life, teaching and serving his parishioners.
I am deeply saddened to hear of his untimely passing. I offer my sincerest condolences to his family, friends and colleagues.
