Surrounded by his loving family on March 25, 2018 in his 90th year. Loving husband of the late Adele (1983) and the late Helen (2003). Cherished father of Colleen (Lyndon), Kelly (Dave), Kathy (Steve), Michael, and Roddy (Suzanne). Proud papa of Ryan, Matthew, Amanda, Jacob, Meghan, Brier, Abbey, Caity, and Jack. Peter was born in County Wexford, Ireland, immigrating as a young man to Canada, where he became a proud Canadian Citizen. He enjoyed his 32 year career as a diesel mechanic at Stelco. Special thanks to the staff at Macassa Lodge for their care and compassion. Visitation will be held at P.X. DERMODY FUNERAL HOME (1919 King St. E. between Rosedale and Cochrane) on Wednesday, March 28, 2018 from 2-4 & 7-9 p.m. A Funeral Service will be held in the funeral home chapel on Thursday, March 29, 2018 at 11 a.m. Burial will follow to Holy Sepulchre Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations to the Alzheimer’s Society would be appreciated by the family.
