Rust, James “Jim”

It is with great sadness that we announce the peaceful passing of James Rust on Saturday, March 31, 2018 at the Juravinski Hospital at the age of 82. Predeceased by his parents Albert and Deborah Rust. Survived by his siblings Patricia Pye (predeceased Norm) and Wayne Rust (Nancy). Predeceased by his siblings Victor Rust, Marie McMaster, Johnny Rust, Katie Taylor, and Albert Rust. He will be missed by his many nieces and nephews, especially Jamie McMaster, as well as his hunting buddies and friends at Tim Hortons. A heartfelt thank-you to the doctors and nurses on E3 Medicine at the Juravinski Hospital for their extraordinary care. Visitation will be held at P.X. DERMODY FUNERAL HOME (796 Upper Gage Ave.) on Friday, April 6, 2018 from 11 a.m. – 1 p.m. Interment to follow at Holy Sepulchre Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations to McMaster Children’s Hospital would be greatly appreciated.
