Perro, Eleanor (nee Dertinger)

It is with great sadness that we announce the peaceful passing of Eleanor Perro on June 16, 2018 at St. Peter’s Hospital in her 92nd year. Beloved wife of the late Charles Ambrose and infant son Paul. Devoted mother of sons Brian (Anne), Bob (Irene), Jim (Cathy), Don (Carmen) and Bill (Carolyn). Predeceased by her daughter-in-law Julie. Loving grandmother of Rhonda (Ryan), Lucas (Kendall), Cameron, Michelle (Matt), Lauren (Ryan), Charles (Danielle), Louisa, Laura, Natalie and great grandmother to Charlie, Scarlett, Grace, Giselle, Emma, and Max. Eleanor was a founding member of Most Blessed Sacrament Parish and was a 65 year member of the C.W.L. She just celebrated her 70th anniversary from the School of St. Joseph’s Nursing, class of 48. Visitation will be held at P.X. DERMODY FUNERAL HOME, 796 Upper Gage Ave., on Wednesday, June 20th from 6-9pm. Rosary to be said on Wednesday at 8:45pm. A Funeral Mass will be offered at Most Blessed Sacrament Parish on Thursday, June 21st at 10:30am. Burial to take place at Resurrection Cemetery. A special thank you to the wonderful nurses, doctors, and staff at St. Peter’s Hospital who cared for mom right to the end. On-line condolences can be made to www.dermodys.com
