Suddenly on July 28, 2018, we lost our beloved Joey in his 36th year. He will be missed dearly by his parents John and Trisha. A special friend and brother to his sister Dawn Lynn (Brian) and brother J.P. Amazing uncle to his nephews Marcus and Tyler. His long time companion Sadye will miss him. Loved nephew of Auntie Donna (Andrew) and Uncle Dan. Loved cousin to Matt, Savannah, Sarah (Matt). Wonderful godfather to Mila who he loved so much. He will be missed by his Buffalo Bills brothers Dave, Mike and TJ Gillis, by so many friends that he touched over his life and his work friends at Maple Leaf Foods - he loved you all… Thank you to all the first responders. Visitation will be held at P.X. DERMODY FUNERAL HOME, 796 Upper Gage Ave., on Thursday August 2, 2018 from 2-4pm & 6-9pm. As per the family’s request please wear your favourite sports wear. A Funeral Mass will be offered at Sacred Heart Parish, 19 Viewpiont Ave, on Friday August 3, 2018 at 10 a.m. Burial to take place at a later date.
