Passed away peacefully after a courageous battle with cancer, on October 3rd, 2018 at St. Peter’s Hospital in Hamilton. Survived by his loving wife Lena of 63 years. Cherished by his sons Cosimo (Joanne), Steve and grandchildren Christina (Matt), Nicole (Evan). Survived by his sister Maria Ceci from Hamilton who lovingly stayed by his side to the end. He will be missed by brothers, sister, nieces and nephews in Canada and Europe. Gardening was one of his great passions and he could always be found in his backyard. Visitation will be held at P.X. DERMODY FUNERAL HOME (796 Upper Gage Ave.) on Tuesday, October 9, 2018 from 2-4 & 7-9 p.m. A Chapel Service will take place in the Funeral Home on October 10, 2018 at 11 a.m. Entombment at Our Lady of the Angels Cemetery to follow.
