With broken heart, Lynne Yeates sadly announces the sudden passing of her beloved son, Mark Andrew Emerson. Mark was predeceased by his father Dr. Egon Phillips. Mark died suddenly, in the early hours of January 1, 2019 from complications due to a long-term heart condition. Mark also leaves behind his children, who he adored: his son Cody Mark Emerson and his daughter, Samantha Eve Emerson. He also leaves his Uncle and Aunt Larry and Louise Sidorkewicz, and cousins, nieces and nephews, as well as his many relatives in the United States, including his beloved Aunt Anna Soroztkin. Companion Sharron Armstrong, provided Mark with great comfort in his last few months. Also survived by the mother of his children Linda Emerson. Mark’s faithful companion, Diesel, will miss his dad and be taken care of by Cody. Mark is predeceased by his Loving Grandmother Eva Coady. Mark left Canada in the 1990’s to live in the United States and pursue an international career, working for many renowned heavy machinery companies. This career took him to many countries including Germany, Spain, and Italy. He was President of ONA America Inc. having been given the grand task o opening the American Division of this Spanish company. Mark was gregarious and always with is many friends and family: he considered everyone his friend and he will be sorely missed. His compassion lives through his organ donations. In lieu of Flowers, Memorial Donations to Mission Services, Hamilton, or Heart and Stroke Foundation would be appreciated. A gathering for family and friends will be held at the P.X.
