Liz passed away peacefully at Shalom Village on February 4, 2019 at the age of 62 years.
Liz is lovingly remembered by her Aunt Ellie, and her many cousins. She was afflicted with Down Syndrome, and met the many challenges she faced, throughout her life, with the assistance of all the good people she met along the way. Special thanks to the nursing and support staff at Shalom Village, Liz’s home for 15 years, for their love and wonderful care of Liz.
Visitation will be held at P.X. DERMODY FUNERAL HOME located at 1919 King St. E., Hamilton, (between Cochrane and Rosedale) on Thursday, February 7th, 2019, from 11:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m., followed by a Chapel Service at 1:30 p.m. Interment to follow at Eastlawn Cemetery in Hamilton.
