Our deepest condolences to Shaun, Ryan, Kayla, Cathy, Paula and Families. We are saddened to hear of Dan's passing and very sorry we were unable to attend his celebration of life. He was a wonderful and fun person to be around, and the life of the party at many McLean family celebrations - a wonderful big cousin to look up to.

Dear Cathy, Paula, Shaun, Ryan and Kayla and families,
We first met Danny when our beloved Joanne joined our family in the early 70's. My parents, Rita and Pancrazio Peroni thought the world of you, together with your wonderful parents Fred and Josephine. We always felt you were truly blessed to have each other, such an amazing family, and now we are saddened again by yet another loss of one of your siblings. We remember Danny as a kind and friendly young man with a great sense of humour, witty like your dear Dad, caring and giving like your Mom....actually it seemed like he had a bit of all of you in him! He will live on in each one of you and in his beautiful children and grandchildren. May God bless you and give you the strength to endure this loss and may Danny remain in your hearts and souls forever.

Sincerely,
Anna and Luch Antolovich (Peroni)

We shared a very special bond, one that could not be broken. Growing up in our teen years, Danny loved being a part of all the parties with his sisters’ girlfriends. He loved his high school years playing football and basketball for the mighty Gaels. We were together throughout our adult life, raising the kids, vacationing together and always a part of every special occasion. Danny was the funniest person, I have ever known. He had a wit second to none. Once he got started there was no stopping him. Life began to beat him down. He endured a great deal of suffering over the past many years. Pain does something to a person. Yet, he never wallowed in self pity or complained. An admirable trait. It was my honour and privilege to be of support , in any way possible , right to the end. Today, we will join with friends and family in a service to honour you. A man of courage, a man of determination, a man of laughter, a man I am proud to call my brother and my friend. Until we meet again....PaulaXO

Uncle Danny...you could make us laugh like no other. To this day, your Poncho Villa joke is the only joke I know how to tell successfully after having made you tell it to us so many times (what a lunch they had!). Thank you for having a beautiful heart and reminding me how important all of us are as a family when my mom was so sick - your life lesson will stay with me always. To love and to forgive ~it is the only way. Thank you for being the MC at my wedding - still shocked to this day that you called the head of Human Resources where I worked to get stories lol. I pray you and my mom are having fun together in your new life now that your suffering is over.

My Tribute To My Brother ---- DANIEL FREDERICK CONDON [ Dec 7th 1956 - Feb 26 2019].
In the early morning hours of Feb 26, 2019, at the Bob Kemp Hospice , Danny passed away peacefully with his first born child Shaun Michael Condon at his side. Danny was 7 & 1\2 months from diagnosis to death. His greatest wish was to remain at home as long as possible, in control of his own humble domain bossing his sisters around like he was a director on a movie set. At the end of the summer he managed to attend the wedding of his Godson Patrick Donald to Chelsea. It was a picture perfect day. His final 25 days of life required the expertise of Palliative Care at the Juravinski Hospital & then Hospice Care. Danny was the author of his life story. His final chapter was on balance, what he had hoped would transpire. He knew he was dearly loved. I will treasure all my days that he invited me to travel this journey with him and thereby I came to know him as I never had before.
Danny you are now free of human suffering & angst. R.I.P Little Brother, Oh Danny Boy. Love Cathy (Donald).

Danny was the youngest of five children born to Frederick {1991} & Josephine Condon {2011}. Danny was predeceased by his parents and siblings Michael {1967} & Joanne Peroni {2017}. He was born & raised in Hamilton Ontario, attending Sacred Heart & Cathedral Boys High School. He loved sports: he played baseball, hockey, basketball & football. His passion for coaching youth was his most gratifying volunteer activity. His genuine interest in people, his gift of the gab, his keen sense of humour contributed to his succesful Salesman career. His most cherished role was that of Father to his children Shaun, Ryan & Kayla Condon, each of whom he loved dearly. And they loved him, they were there for him during these final months as were their partners Nancy , Heather & Matt. For all their support & love he was truly grateful.

Danny will be greatly missed by his Children & their Partners, his 5 Grandchildren, Nieces & Nephews, Aunts & Uncles, many Cousins, Brothers-in-Law Larry Peroni & Joe Pettigrew, Wendy Furyk who was instrumental in lovingly maintaining his health for years. And lastly his sisters Paula (Pettigrew) & Cathy (Donald) who knew him all his life, he was the cutest boy who smiled so readily, a trait he kept all his days. We will look for your spirit , you'll find us outdoors in the warmer weather. Love Cathy (Donald)
