Obituary for Anna Marie Paris (Roach)

November 28, 1918 to March 13, 2019

It is with great sadness that we announce Anna quietly passed away at the tender age of 100. She will be deeply missed by her children George(Jane) Paris, Betty (Albert) Nicholls, Janet (Tom) Fulton, Mike Castiglione and her sisters in law Audrey and Barb Roach as well as all of her 13 “favourite” grandchildren, 20 great grandchildren and 3 great-great grandchildren.

Anna is predeceased by her beloved husband Robert (Bert), parents George and Elizabeth Roach, daughters Mary LaBelle and Karen Castiglione and daughter in law Lynda Paris, sisters Helen (Jim), Smillie, Kay (Bob) Jackson, Lillian Brown, brothers George “Sunner” (Irene) Roach, Mike “Mr. Vet” (Ruby) Roach, Leo (Gen) Roach, Richard Roach, Bernard Roach, Don Roach, and Joseph Roach. She will be missed by her many nieces and nephews.

Anna was a proud member of the Catholic Women’s League for over 50 years.
Visitation will be held at P.X. Dermody Funeral Home, 7 East Avenue on Sunday March 17 from 4 to 8pm. A funeral mass will be celebrated at St. Lawrence the Martyr Parish (125 Picton St. E.) on Monday March 18 at 10am with burial to follow at Holy Sepulchre Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, donations to a charity of choice would be appreciated by her family.
