D’Angelo, Lidia (nee Leone)
Passed away peacefully with her family by her side at the Hamilton General Hospital on Tuesday, April 16, 2019 at the age of 88. Beloved wife of the late Antonio. Loving mother of Giovanna (Mike), Luciano (Lori), and Sebastiano (Susan). Grandmother to Domenic, David, John (Jessica), Lisa (Mike), Robert (Alanna), Mara (Matt), Ayla (Chris) and great grandmother to John Jr., Adrian, Christian, Daniel, Joseph, David and Lauren. Survived by her sister-in-law Domenica Leone and predeceased by her brothers and sisters Ferrante, Clara, Carmela, Anna, Mario, Guerino, and Ottavio. Special thanks to the wonderful nursing staff on Ward 4W and 6W for their compassionate care and treatment and a special thank you to Spring for taking such good care of our mother in her final stages. Visitation will be held at the P.X. DERMODY FUNERAL HOME, 796 Upper Gage Ave., on Monday, April 22nd from 2-4 & 7-9pm. Prayers will be said on Monday at 3:30pm. A Funeral Mass will be offered at St. Luke’s Catholic Church on Tuesday, April 23rd at 10am. Entombment to take place at Holy Sepulchre Cemetery, Our Lady of Victory Mausoleum.
