Passed away suddenly at Heritage Green Nursing Home on Friday, December 27, 2019, at the age of 73. Beloved husband Eberhard Wanner with whom she shared 49 years of marriage. Lovingly remembered by predeceased parents Elfrieda and Stanley Wojcik. Loving mother of David Wanner (Lisa), Michael Wanner (Francesca), Karla Johnson (Chris). Loving grandmother of Brooke, Alyson, Liam, Sophia and Grayson. Much loved sister Wanda Ecker (Ludwig), predeceased by brother Edward Wojcik (Karen), and sister in law Rosmarie Wanner. Will be sadly missed by her niece, nephew's and friends. Linda was a member of the Germania club for many years. Proud member/ President of the Ladies Auxiliary for 12 years. Special thank you to Heritage Green for her care and services for the past two years. Visitation will be held at P.X. DERMODY FUNERAL HOME, 7 East Ave. S, (One block East of Victoria Ave.) on Friday, January 3rd from 2-4 p.m. and 7-9p.m. A Funeral Mass will be offered at St. Patrick’s Roman Catholic Church (440 King St E,) on Saturday, January 4th at 10 a.m.
