The Memorial Candle Program has been designed to help offset the costs associated with the hosting this Tribute Website in perpetuity. Through the lighting of a memorial candle, your thoughtful gesture will be recorded in the Book of Memories and the proceeds will go directly towards helping ensure that the family and friends of Rick Zajac can continue to memorialize, re-visit, interact with each other and enhance this tribute for future generations.

Thank you.

Old Friends

Dear Mr. & Mrs. Zajac & family. I was sorry to hear about Ricks passing. Rick and I were friends all through grade school & high school. We worked together at the Beach Strip amusement park in the bingo parlour. Spent many a hour walking over from East 44TH to play games in your basement on Greenwood St. with Rick, or kicking the football around in the street.

I got married in 1980 and started seeing Rick less and less. Oh well, I guess that happens sometimes.

The last time I saw Rick was about 15 years ago on the HSR going to work. We talked about getting together sometime & catching a game or a round of golf.

I regret not keeping in touch with him. But I will always remember him for his humour and love for anything sports.

My best regards to your family............................Ken & Anita Patton.
