I didn't know you as long as others but you always considered me family. I will always appreciate that even though Matthew wasn't your son by blood you took him in and treated him as if he were. Even when his mom and you split up it didn't change how you treated him. He loved you like a father because you WERE his father. When I married him it was no questions asked I was family now. You always made sure we all spent time together. One christmas you paid for us all to have dinner at swiss chalet and we invited a friend along. She offered to pay for herself but you told her that if we considered her family then that was enough for you and she was touched by that. 

I will definitely miss when you would come out here with all the family and you would take us out to lunch and then everyone would come to the house after so the kids could play together and you would nap on the couch. I wish we could have one more family day like that. 

You had a big heart and you filled the hearts of many others.
