Bevie

As most of you know, Bev made many trips "home" to Nova Scotia with her brother Doug and we were very honored to host them on those trips. Who would have thought that a random trip to Nova Scotia would have resulted in a total of 15 trips "home". Our daughter spent the first 14 years of her life looking forward to seeing "her Bevie and Dougie" every year. We spent many hours around our kitchen table talking and laughing until the wee hours. Randy would tease her until she lovingly said "MacKenzie you're an a**hole".:)

We made many day trips and on one such trip, Doug and Randy got us lost and of course, wouldn't admit it. Bev was very delighted when we finally ended up in New Glasgow - saying excidedly "I've never been in New Glasgow" - that was the joke all the way back home that Bev finally got to see the "big town" of New Glasgow:) I could tell many stories of our adventures - they always ended with Bev being so happy and excited over our latest escapade.

We feel truly blessed to have had many good times with dear Bev. Thank you Doug for making these trips with her, especially the last few when her health was deteriorating - it meant so much to us all. To Bev's family, your loss is great and I hope you take comfort knowing she loved each and everyone of you with all her heart. That was very evident in the way she talked of you all in our conversations.

Bev, we love you and will miss you greatly. We all have a beautiful angel watching over us.
